Since its inception in 1986, Lexii Business Technology Services has been a pioneer in providing cutting-edge solutions to clients across the New York Tri-State area. Originally established as Computer Typesetting Services, we specialized in selling and repairing Computerized Typesetting Systems for newspapers, magazines, and advertising agencies.

In 1995, our company underwent a transformation and adopted the name Lexii, paying homage to founder Rob Faulkner’s daughter, Alexia. In the year 2000, Rob embarked on a three-year sabbatical, during which he played a pivotal role as the first Director of IT for JetBlue Airways, then a nascent startup. Rob spearheaded the development of JetBlue’s IT infrastructure, overseeing its expansion from two airplanes and three cities to 25 airports nationwide.

Notably, Rob’s innovative vision led to the creation of the industry’s first “Paperless Cockpit” at JetBlue, empowering pilots with laptops to access electronic flight manuals and conduct preflight load and balance calculations. This groundbreaking initiative not only slashed printing costs but also saved the airline 4,800 man-hours annually.

In 2003, leveraging his wealth of experience, Rob redirected Lexii’s focus to become a Managed IT Service Provider, dedicated to assisting small and medium-sized businesses in harnessing the power of technology for success.
